Triton™ Ocean Software Development Kit (version 2.20)
DOWNLOAD the Triton Ocean SDK for Windows
An evaluation version of the SDK is available for Windows OpenGL and DirectX developers; install the Triton Ocean SDK and ensure you can easily integrate it with your application for free, then purchase a license to unlock Triton for distribution. Sample code is provided for OpenGL 2.0+, DirectX9, DirectX11, OpenSceneGraph, C#, XNA, and Ogre3D integration. 32-bit and 64-bit libraries for Microsoft Visual C++ 2003, 2005, 2008, 2010, and 2012 (with the latest service packs and security patches applied) are provided.
This evaluation SDK does not include redistribution rights, and will terminate your application after five minutes of use. Purchase a license to unlock the SDK and obtain its full source.
Triton for Unity Pro

Triton for Linux
An evaluation version of Triton for Linux is distributed as obfuscated source that’s built by our installer scripts. Follow these steps to get up and running:
- Prepare your system. Install the latest proprietary drivers from NVidia or AMD if you plan to use CUDA or OpenCL acceleration. Install your distribution’s packages for freeglut-dev, libxmu-dev, and libxi-dev if you haven’t already.
- Install required prerequisites: CMake and FFTSS 3.0
- Install optional prerequisites: CUDA Toolkit, AMD APP SDK, clAmdFft, and Intel’s Integrated Performance Primitives for top performance.
- Install Triton for Linux by running the downloaded script as super-user.
Triton for MacOS
An evaluation version of Triton for MacOS is distributed as obfuscated source that’s built on your system. Follow these instructions to get up and running on MacOS.

Sample code is provided for OpenGL, OpenGL 3.2, DirectX9, DirectX10, DirectX11, OpenSceneGraph, SceniX, Carmenta, XNA, and Ogre integration. Integration kits for the Havok Vision Game Engine, Unity, and Gamebryo Lightspeed are available separately below. Includes pre-built C++ libraries for Visual Studio and a C# wrapper.

Linux and MacOS X Evaluation SDK

The Linux / Mac evaulation SDK includes obfuscated source code for the SilverLining libraries. You’ll need to run ‘make’ to build it, after uncompressing. Licensed customers receive unobfuscated source. Refer to the readme file for more details. SilverLining has been tested on 32 and 64 bit Ubuntu, Fedora, Red Hat, Debian, TinyCore, and OpenSUSE distributions, as well as MacOS X.
Android Evaluation SDK

The Android evaulation SDK includes documentation, an Android library for Java developers, and static libraries for C++ native activity developers. It also includes an OpenSceneGraph integration sample for Android. Android 2.3.3 or newer and support for OpenGL ES 2.0 is required on target devices.
SilverLining for Unity
A special, limited version of SilverLining for Unity is available through the Unity Asset Store at a low, indie-friendly price. SilverLining for Unity includes stratus, cirrus and cumulus congestus clouds, with continuous time of day effects and procedural skies. A web demo of SilverLining for Unity is available.

After first installing the SilverLining™ SDK for Windows (version 2.7+) and Havok Vision Game Engine™ 2012.2.1+, install the integration package:

SilverLining™ Demo
Our demo application lets you see for yourself how our 3D volumetric clouds, virtual skies, and precipitation effects perform on your system. Hit the “eye” icon in the demo to enter “interactive mode,” where you can create your own scenes and preview what different scenarios will look like in your own application. Requires Windows 2000, XP, Vista, or newer, and a graphics accelerator that supports OpenGL 1.2 or better.
Triton Ocean SDK™ Demo
The Triton Ocean SDK demo lets you experiment with different wind, time of day, and choppiness conditions under adjustable camera angles and heights, so you can see first hand how Triton performs on your system under the conditions you need. Requires Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, or newer, and a graphics accelerator that supports OpenGL 2.0 or better.
